Sitwake: Inclusive Wakeboarding
This event provides an inclusive environment where participants can enjoy wakeboarding in specially designed sit-down equipment, ensuring safety and accessibility. Our experienced instructors will be on hand to guide participants, offering personalized coaching and support.
Educational Wakeboard Program – Agrupamento de Escolas Gil Eanes
The Association aims to integrate wakeboard into the official school sports calendar of Lagos.
The project provide structured sessions for 20 students, combining technical training with environmental education and teamwork development. The long-term vision is to create an annual aquatic school sports program embedded in the local education system.


Silver Surfer & Silver SUP-er – Active Ageing Program
Monthly adapted surf and SUP sessions will continue for adults over 45.
The program prioritizes safe progression, social inclusion and respect for individual rhythm. The Association aims to establish a municipal aquatic senior sports program with regular sessions and community gatherings.
Wakeboard Introduction for 50 Children of Lagos
This project will offer 50 children (aged 8–16), who would not otherwise have financial access, the opportunity to experience wakeboard.
The initiative promotes equal access to sport, self-confidence, environmental respect and active citizenship. The long-term ambition is to establish a Municipal Children’s Wakeboard School.


Lagos Open – Annual Competition
In partnership with Associação Portuguesa de Wake
The Lagos Open will continue to grow as a national reference event in wakeboard.
Beyond competition, the event promotes sustainable tourism, community engagement and inclusive sport. It positions Lagos as an innovative, dynamic and welcoming coastal sports hub.
The long-term vision is to consolidate the Lagos Open as an annual flagship event for Portuguese wakeboard.
Kids Club – Wakeboard for Local Children
The Kids Club program provided weekly wakeboard lessons to local children with over 50% discounted access.
More than just sport, this initiative promoted emotional development, self-confidence, discipline and respect for the environment. For many children, this was their first contact with wakeboard — opening doors to new passions and possibilities.
The program reinforced equal access to sport and created a strong sense of belonging within the local community.
